BizTalk Community series: Introducing Rajesh Kolla

Currently there is a lot of activity in BizTalk community. BizTalkadminsblogging has had a flying start with a lot of contributions. Number of BizTalk related articles on the TechNet wiki is growing. Besides the wiki a lot of BizTalk pro’s are active on blogs and forums. So today I like to continue with the fifth story in the BizTalk Community Series that brings active BizTalk community members to the foreground. The story today is on Rajesh Kolla. I had a little chat with Rajesh through email.

Rajesh Kolla, is working with Microsoft technologies (ASP.NET, WCF, SQL Server, MCMS, WinForms and son on) since 2002.  He is currently working as Managing Consultant with Sogeti USA based out of Houston, TX, USA.

Rasjesh has been working with BizTalk since 2006. He worked with following versions of BizTalk Server: 2004, 2006, 2006 R2, 2009 and 2010. His day to day job includes architecting integration solutions, development, and deployment of BizTalk applications. His view on the BizTalk Server product I quote:

“I think, BizTalk has been emerged as a powerful integration/middleware product with familiar tooling and extensible components and frameworks. I envision that, it is going to play even more vital role in developing hybrid solutions between on-premise and cloud in future.”

Rajesh likes to watch cricket and Indian movies/TV in his free time (Thanks to his Roku player for providing low-cost alternative to watch regional TV and movies). This might however change after his wife will give birth to his first child in June/July. He likes to play Cricket and Shuttle badminton. His favorite team is Team India (Indian Cricket team).

Rajesh has been sharing tips/gotchas out of his personal experiences with BizTalk and Azure platform through his blog and answering questions on MSDN forums (see his profile).

His final quote:

“I would like to request our readers also to contribute in their own way, as it is going to help and save time of someone somewhere.”

Thanks Rajesh for taking time to have a little chat with me.

My next ten TechNet Wiki Articles on BizTalk Continued….

Last couple of weeks I written a number of wiki articles for TechNet Wiki. The TechNet Wiki is a place, where content is generated by the community and Microsoft employees about Microsoft technologies and products for the community. I very much like the concept and in November 2011 I completed my first ten articles. Next ten were created by 15th of January. Now a few weeks later I have finished the next ten:
Again I hope you will find these articles useful. Feel free to edit any of them if you feel something needs to correct or added. The complete list of BizTalk wiki articles can be found here. I myself will be working on next couple of articles in the near future until I am out of inspiration.
Cheers!

A flying start for BizTalkAdminsblogging.com

BizTalkadminsblogging has had a tremendous start. Within a week and a half 13 posts already and this will be number 14. An average almost two blog posts a day. This reflects the high demand for BizTalk administration related information, the need for sharing it and desire to create more exposure for this aspect of BizTalk Server. Jeroen and Joris have done an excellent job setting up this blog site, running and maintaining it. The recent posts have touched topics like PowerShell, Microsoft Operation Framework, and so on.
There is also a TechNet Wiki, where some of the bloggers and others have written articles on BizTalk Administration. I, Tord G. Nordahl, Sandro Pereira, Howard S. Edidin and Microsoft have written the following articles that are related to BizTalk administration:
As you can see that is quite an extensive list (20+ articles).
In the near future Jeroen and I want to organize an event with the Dutch BizTalk User Group that is focused on BizTalk administration. A similar event has already taken place last week. The Ordina BizTalk Innovation Event with topic Administration and Monitoring has been a great success. More than 40 attendees were present at the event. This shows the growing commitment of the community towards BizTalk administration.

A final quote from Abhijit:

“I believe that one doesn’t ever get tired until he makes the last attempt and doesn’t ever make the last attempt until he is successful.”

I would like to thank Abhijit for his contributions to the community and the time he took to have a chat with me.
