Upcoming Events

In two weeks time I will head out to North America. My first stop will be Calgary to visit my friend Kent Weare. My MVP buddies Saravana Kumar and Michael Stephenson will join me as we will be speaking during the Azure Hybrid Integration the 30th of October at Microsoft Calgary. The Azure Hybrid Integration will be a full day with Kent, Saravana, Michael, myself and Darren King from Microsoft speaking on the following topics SaaS connectivity, IoT, Hybrid SQL Server, BizTalk administration & operations and Two Speed IT using Microsoft Azure. This is a multi-day event that is hosted in Bellevue and at Microsoft headquarters in Redmond, Washington. BizTalk Innovation Days and the Connected Systems Event

Coming months I will be attending and speaking at the following events: I'll be attending a one-day event hosted by the UK Connected Systems Group : The Hybrid Organization .This event focuses on hybrid integration strategies using Windows Azure and the Microsoft platform. I will be speaking at a two-day event hosted by Bouvet : BizTalk Innovation Day 2013 . This event will be targeted for professionals interested in BizTalk on several different levels, developers, administrators and architects. I will also be speaking at a one-day event hosted by Microsoft Italy and various sponsors : BizTalk Innovation Day 2013 Italy . At both Innovation Day events I will do session on BizTalk Server 2013 and the Windows Azure Service Bus: Hybrid Solutions. BizTalk REST Support Resources

Microsoft offers REST support in BizTalk Server 2013 through the WCF-WebHttp Adapter . Something that has been anticipated by BizTalk developers for sometime. With BizTalk Server 2010 there was already quite a demand resulting: in a TechNet Wiki Article called Invoke ReSTful Web Services with BizTalk Server 2010 describing a solution to consume Restful services with BizTalk 2010, and a REST Start Kit for BizTalk to provide support for REST made by Microsoft Integration MVP Mikael HÃ¥kansson . REST API’s have grown big on the web. Twitter, Google, Salesforce, eBay, Amazon all offer REST API's to use their services. Together with the increase of mobile devices and light weight rich (Ajax) web applications the adoption of REST grows more and more.
